Our aim is to provide short-term accommodation to the destitute in a Phase One type shelter, with further counseling, skills training etc in a Phase Two shelter thereafter.


It has its origins more than 20 years ago when a group of Christians came together periodically to reach out to the destitute and street people of the Durban city centre.


  • Current financing is mainly derived from the workers themselves, and from a few business which are linked to the workers.
